PUBLIC NOTICE

 Effective November 7, 2011, the Town of Campton is increasing its fees on driveway permits.  The fee will go from $25.00 to $50.00.  This change will cover the costs for the Compliance Officer to come out to the site for two visits.  Once to approve the initial permit, and a second follow up when the driveway is completed to be sure that it has been installed as stated on the permit.

BLAIR COVERED BRIDGE REPAIR

The Campton Board of Selectmen received notification on Wednesday,  September 28, that the Town’s insurance company has approved the repairs to the Blair Covered Bridge as proposed by Bob Durfee, Engineer with Dubois & King .  The contractor, Stan Graton of 3G Construction, has advised that he has ordered the timbers and it will be a couple of weeks before they are received.  Once received, the contractor has assured the Selectmen that he and his crew will work diligently to get the bridge repaired and reopened as soon as possible.  With good weather, it should take about one month to complete the repairs from the time they are started.
